Responsibilities
- Assess and evaluate patients in the immediate post-anesthesia period.
- Provide safe nursing care and a safe environment for patients and families.
- Transcribe and implement physician orders, document patient-related information, and administer medication accurately and safely.
- Update and revise patient plans as needed, ensuring a smooth transition to nursing units.
Requirements
- Graduate from an accredited school of nursing with an Associate's Degree in Nursing or higher.
- License as a Registered Nurse in the state where you practice or hold an active Compact/Multi-State RN license.
- Current American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross Basic Life Support (BLS) Health Care Provider certification.
- Minimum one year of previous nursing experience.
