As a Logistics Coordinator at Trident Industries, you will take on a dual role balancing logistics coordination, administrative, and scheduling and dispatching support to keep our equipment and operations on track. You will be responsible for scheduling, asset tracking, vendor coordination, and documentation management, ensuring that every piece of equipment is accounted for, maintained, and efficiently deployed to job sites.
Key Responsibilities:
- Schedule and coordinate the mobilization and demobilization of Trident’s Solar Panel Powered Security Towers and other field equipment from job sites, ensuring timely return to headquarters.
- Maintain detailed records of all equipment movements, logging deliveries, retrievals, and asset conditions upon return.
- Dispatch drivers and field teams providing clear instructions on pick-up locations, schedules, and logistics requirements.
- Communicate with field teams, project managers, and customers to ensure smooth transitions and deployment of security towers.
- Monitor equipment availability, proactively addressing scheduling conflicts or potential delays.
- Manage vehicle, UTV, trailer, and heavy equipment maintenance and repair scheduling, ensuring minimal downtime.
- Oversee vehicle recalls, routine inspections, and compliance tracking to maintain fleet safety and efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with safety and transportation regulations, minimizing risks during equipment transport.
- Utilize scheduling software and tracking systems to optimize routes and manage logistics effectively.
- Track and manage inventory for tools, parts, and equipment, ensuring field teams have the resources they need.
- Audit and maintain fleet fuel usage records to support monthly fleet billing and reporting.
- Conduct biannual asset tracking and audits, ensuring all fleet and equipment are properly documented and accounted for.
- Maintain detailed records of fleet usage, equipment deployment, and repairs, ensuring accurate data entry and filing.
- Develop, update, and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and field guides to streamline processes.
- Coordinate with vendors for fleet services, equipment procurement, and repair needs.
- Assist with document management and reporting, ensuring all records are properly organized and accessible.
- Support compliance efforts by ensuring all required inspections, audits, and reports are completed on time.
- 3 years experience in scheduling, dispatching, logistics coordination, or administrative support preferred.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail to manage multiple schedules and documentation requirements.
- Ability to problem-solve and adapt quickly in a fast-paced, ever-changing work environment.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills to coordinate with internal teams, vendors, and external partners.
- Proficiency in fleet tracking software, scheduling platforms, and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Familiarity with DOT compliance, transportation regulations, and safety protocols is a plus.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and capable of working both independently and as part of a team.
