Job Summary :
The Human Resources Coordinator Sr. (CA) is responsible for advising and assisting employees on human resources policies and procedures for the efficient execution of internal processes. They provide administrative support to the Trident Corporate Office and support Trident's California Office.
Essential Duties / Tasks :
Respond to inquiries from Trident employees and customers promptly regarding policies and procedures, job postings, and HR servicesAssist the Corporate Human Resources Manager, and HR Department in performance of HR tasksMaintain standards of confidentiality and privacy, per the Trident, federal, state, and local regulations, and any other protected documentationParticipate in committees and teams to resolve problems, develop systems, and improve interdepartmental cooperation and efficiencyMaintain in-depth knowledge of the State and Federal legal requirements related to the day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks, and ensuring regulatory complianceWork closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retentionManage data collection, maintenance, storage, and retrieval of documentation related to recruitment and talent acquisitionManage the efficient flow of HR processes including employment records related to hiring, transfer, leaves of absence, promotion, and termination in the appropriate databasesCompile and maintains accurate human resource / employee files, records, and documentation (both hard copy and electronic files)Perform periodic audits of HR / employee files and records to ensure that all required documents are collected and filed appropriatelySupport internal and external inquiries and requestsFollow policies and procedures in onboarding and off-boarding employeesWork with supervisors to coordinate new employee orientations to ensure a smooth work transition and educate employees on systems, policies, procedures, and technologyDemonstrate professionalism and provide quality customer service per Trident's valuesMaintain positive working relationships, make decisions, and solve problemsMaintain confidentiality, positive communication, accurate records, and an organized, safe working environmentExhibit flexibility, willingness to learn, ability to change, and maintain current technology skillsLiaise with colleagues in other institutions and actively participate in professional developmentRegular and punctual attendance is requiredOther duties, as assignedRequired Education and Experience :
Minimum of an Bachelor's degree in a related field from a regionally or nationally accredited institution5 years of experience may be substituted for the education requirementMinimum of five years of full-time experience in human resourcesMinimum of three years of payroll experience.Proven strong foundation and knowledge of principles & practice of HR including California and Federal employment lawProficient in a variety of computer software applications including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) and Apple applications (Numbers, Pages, Keynote)Experience with customer service is strongly preferredRequired Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities :

The Human Resources Coordinator Sr. (CA) is a full-time, 8 : 00 AM to 5 : 00 PM (PST) salary exempt position. This role reports directly to the Corporate Human Resources ManagerSalary : $63,000 to $67,000
