Description
Position Description: The Senior Operations Support Specialist is responsible for working with customer service, Procurement, and Rhino’s manufacturing operation in Waseca, providing general manufacturing and planning support.
Operation Specialist Responsibilities:
- Generate manufacturing work orders
- Create and submit purchasing requisitions
- Monitor and maintain inventory records and support the inventory process
- Process PO/material receipts
- Manage inventory levels and stocking plans, coordinate with the procurement department
- Calculate and maintain product cost processes
- Generate part numbers, bills of materials, engineering masters, and product quotations.
- Support manufacturing scheduling activities
- Updating BOM attributes to ensure accurate cost and material usage
- Work within a team to improve processes and systems
- Support corrective action activities
Key Competencies:
- Comfortable in a flexible team environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Familiarity with ERP Software Systems and inventory processes
- Self-starter with ability to prioritize tasks
- Attention to detail
- Ability to think outside the box, with a goal of improving processes and systems
Qualifications
Preferred Requirements:
- 2-year degree, or equivalent, in relevant discipline
- 2-years manufacturing experience, or equivalent
- Flexible, easy-going attitude
