We are seeking an experienced Diagnostic Imaging Specialist to join our team at TridentCare - Indiana. As a Diagnostic Imaging Specialist, you will be responsible for operating diagnostic imaging equipment to capture high-quality images of tissues, bones, organs, and vessels.
Key responsibilities:
- Prepare examination rooms and ensure all equipment is ready for use
- Administer radiopharmaceuticals or assist in radiation therapy to obtain clear diagnostic images
- Position patients and equipment, explain the procedure to ensure comfort, and monitor patient safety throughout
- Input commands and data into imaging systems to document and control scan sequences, adjusting image contrast or density as needed
- Monitor and observe patients during procedures, following safety protocols to prevent unnecessary radiation exposure
- Produce diagnostic images, report critical findings to physicians, and maintain accurate patient records
