Position Summary
We are seeking candidates who are passionate about leadership, personnel development, and DoD test and evaluation activities.
The selected candidate will work in an office environment either at the Trideum or customer site located in the vicinity of Fort Bliss, TX. The person in this role will be responsible for assisting the Program Manager with day-to-day operations as well as surge operations to support testing events.
This is an exciting opportunity for a successful applicant to be integrally involved in the continued development and refinement of systems to be utilized in the multi-domain operational environment. This role requires dedication and the ability to operate independently in case of the Program Manager absence. In this role, the candidate must be flexible and adaptable to meet emergent customer needs. This position is contingent upon contract award.
What Youll Do
- Perform all Program Manager duties in the absence of the Program Manager.
- Understand the customer, their mission, and their current capabilities.
- Assist the Program Manager with contract planning, coordination, control, and direction in relation to contract execution.
- Assist the Program Manager with providing oversight in various engineering, analysis, and general support activities as related to customer requirements.
- Maintain direct touchpoints/meetings with government leads (supported customer, KO/COR, et al).
- Assist with the development and delivery of contract deliverables and required responses.
- Assist with the tracking and managing of contract financials to ensure budgetary compliance.
- Assist with conducting personnel management to include both full-time and part-time employees in terms of hiring, training, and task assignment.
- Ensure all rules, regulations, and directives issued are adhered to by all employees.
Requirements and Qualifications:
- Possess a Bachelors Degree in Engineering and/or Business from an accredited college or university
- 3 years of demonstrated engineering and management experience on DoD contracts or projects with organizational responsibilities of a similarly complex nature and financial scope. Possess experience working on and demonstrated leadership responsibilities on at least two large projects or programs utilizing mechanical, computer, electrical and electronics engineering disciplines
- Experience reviewing and approving the work of project managers, engineers, support staff and contract administrative personnel
- One (1) year of experience demonstrating knowledge of the DoD acquisition process specifically related to the test career field
- U.S. Citizenship and an active top-secret level clearance in accordance with DoD regulations
- Experience with Army Test and Evaluation is a plus
