Position Summary
This is a Constructive Simulation Specialist Systems Administrator position at the Global Simulation Capability, National Simulation Center, Fort Leavenworth, KS in support of the National Simulation Center (NSC) Support Operations (SO) task order under MTCCS II IDIQ.
What You’ll Do
- Identify and quickly troubleshoot problems on federate systems (co-located and at remote sites), RTI infrastructure software, client system software, and networking
- Serve as a manager of the JLCCTC Federation and as a communications hub for multiple simultaneous events
- Advise government representatives on technical recommendations and timelines with regard to JLCCTC capabilities
- Ensures all exercise databases are complete, accurate, functional, and on time
- Bachelor's degree in an associated discipline
- At Least 3 years of experience with the integration of MCIS
- Proficient in integrating and maintaining mission command systems and software as operators/instructors to test, validation and/or field environment in support of JLCCTC
- Experienced in providing help desk, test events, PTR analysis, MCS databases, MCS Terrain, MCS troubleshooting and resolution, MCS Setup and teardown, and demonstrations
- Experienced in providing Requirements Analysis (technical, database, Mission Command System (MCS), and functional) in support of current capabilities and assessing new and emerging capabilities
- 3 years experience in JLCCTC technical, functional, and operational competencies including experience in configuring/setting up JLCCTC remote site systems, the TCF manager(s)
- 3 years experience and shall possess skills and experience in Command and Control (C2) / Mission Command Information Systems (Mis) architecture and technical functions to include the JLCCTC systems
- Familiarity with cybersecurity principles, especially as they apply to military networks and systems
- DoD IAT II Certification
- US Citizen
- Possess an active US SECRET Security Clearance
