Responsibilities
Personalized Care:
- Assist clients with daily living activities, including bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting.
- Provide mobility support, helping clients transfer from bed to chair, walking, or using mobility aids.
- Ensure that clients take their medications on time, providing medication reminders and support.
- Implement individualized care plans tailored to each client’s needs and goals.
- Assist clients with building life skills such as communication, social interaction, and self-care.
- Use positive reinforcement strategies to encourage positive behaviors and minimize challenges.
- Provide emotional support, companionship, and encouragement to reduce isolation and promote social engagement.
- Engage clients in recreational and social activities that enhance emotional well-being and promote independence.
- Foster meaningful relationships that improve the overall quality of life for clients.
- Observe and report any changes in clients’ physical or emotional health to family members or healthcare providers.
- Ensure a safe environment by maintaining a clean, hazard-free space and preventing accidents or injuries.
- Assist with meal preparation and ensure clients are following dietary requirements.
- Maintain open communication with clients’ families to provide updates, address concerns, and ensure comprehensive care.
- Work collaboratively with healthcare professionals to adjust care plans and ensure clients’ needs are met.
- High school diploma or equivalent. Additional certifications in caregiving, special education, or health-related fields are a plus.
- 0-1 year of Previous experience as a Caregiver, Home Health Aide, or similar role is preferred.
- A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation may be required, depending on job duties.
- Strong communication skills to interact with clients, families, and other team members.
- Ability to assist with physical tasks such as lifting, walking assistance, and performing household tasks
- Clean background check with no open CPS or APS registry.
- Valid Figure print Clearance Card
- Valid CPR and First Aid certification.
- Completion of Article 9
- DCW (Direct Care Worker) Training.
Salary : $17 - $20
