Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning and sanitization of animal enclosures, kennels, and common areas.
- Ensure that all cleaning supplies and equipment are used safely and effectively.
- Monitor the cleanliness of the facility throughout the day and address any sanitation issues promptly.
- Assist with the proper disposal of waste materials in accordance with health regulations.
- Collaborate with veterinary technicians and assistants to maintain a hygienic environment conducive to animal care.
- Report any maintenance or safety concerns to management immediately.
- Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others.
Experience
- Previous experience as a Veterinary Technician or Veterinary Assistant is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with animal care practices, including pet grooming, dog training, or handling is advantageous.
- Strong customer service skills to interact positively with pet owners and visitors.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
