What are the responsibilities and job description for the Event Production Manager position at TRIGGER(HOUSE?
The Event Production Manager (EPM) has critical day-to-day project and management responsibilities, acting as the primary representative of the event production function for Trigger(House client projects. The EPM is responsible for managing and executing the end-to-end production process for a wide range of program profiles, responsible for setting and managing event production budgets, timelines, and deliverables.
Responsibilities:
Event Production Strategy / Creative:
- Lead the production strategy and project plans for Event Production projects, collaborating with the VP of Production and the various internal TH teams;
- Provide collaborative creative and direction on client projects to ensure that the client's unique business objectives are met;
- Generate new and innovative approaches to problems
Project Management:
- Manage projects to ensure successful delivery (on time, within budget, meeting agreed-upon success criteria) to establish clear goals and accountabilities. It also includes the ability to develop project plans, allocate resources, identify potential issues/risks, and develop contingency plans;
- Coordinate work with the Creative leadership team, Account Services, and Sales to initiate jobs using standardized formats, and develop project estimates and timelines;
- Define, obtain, and manage structured feedback and approvals to ensure that deliverables are being reviewed by all necessary stakeholders, including clients, project teams, and other creative teams, against established project objectives;
- Generate and maintain event production/technical documents (run of show, production/crew schedule, set-up, and strike logistics schedule, etc.);
- Creation of plans/drawings for event concepts and executions
- Ability to communicate effectively with senior-level management, written, verbal, and in-person.
Resource / Supplier / Partners / Vendors:
- Develop diverse networks/resources to leverage "best in class" knowledge, approaches, and processes;
- Knowledgeable of methods or techniques used and ability to inspire quality performance;
- Able to evaluate and ensure that vendor performance meets or exceeds defined performance standards and adheres to overall company policies and procedures
- Identify, select, prepare, and distribute "Proposals for Proposals" to hire, contract, and engage third parties (e.g., agencies, suppliers, events, properties, sponsorships, licensees and rights holders, vendors, retailers, etc.);
- Manage vendors onsite for installations and union installs
