TRIGO Global Quality Solutions has several immediate openings for Paint Technicians in Decatur, IL.
Overall Purpose
The Paint Technician plays a key part in maintaining the professional appearance and longevity of equipment through high-quality paint application and surface preparation.
Reports to
Site Supervisor/Site Leads
Responsibilities
(To include but not limited to the following)
Operations
· Recoat all forklifts in the facility, including full paint jobs and ongoing touch-ups
· Remove decals and prep surfaces (pressure washing, scuffing for adhesion)
· Apply paint using brushes and rollers
· Drive and reposition forklifts safely within the work area
· Collaborate with supervisors for inspection and approval of completed units
· Ensure timely and high-quality completion of paint jobs based on customer expectations
· Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
· Read and follow work instructions and general processes
· Display excellent customer service
· Must comply with local and company Health & Safety legislation, laws, and policies
