TRIGO Global Quality Solutions is seeking a Quality Inspectors located in Seguin, Texas.
Pay range $16.00 - $16.50 any applicable night shift premium
Overall Purpose
Ensure Quality services and support for all missions assigned to their site.
Reports to
Site Supervisor/Site Leads
Responsibilities
(To include but not limited to the following)
Client Relationship & Business Development
- Act as an impartial third party between the production source and the customer facility to ensure the product meets set criteria.
Operations
- Performs quality inspection / quality audits on incoming material using hand gaging and visual techniques to determine conformance to specifications and fitness for use.
- Contains non-conforming parts and/or sub-assemblies.
- Rectifies non-conforming material by rework, sorting and/or scrapping as directed by Team Leader.
- Uses methods such as de-rusting, grinding, drilling, tapping, assembly and/or disassembly to rectify non-conforming material.
- Determines the tools and equipment needed to do the job.
- Grinds, sands, cleans and oils parts and/or sub-assemblies by using hand tools or equipment.
- Other duties as assigned.
Organization & Management
- Communicate sort/inspection results to managers, supervisors and production source.
Technical
- MUST be able to use basic hand tools such as gaging, drills, taps, grinders and/or sanders to repair and/or clean parts and/or sub-assemblies.
- Utilize company portal for time recording and policy acknowledgements.
Other
- Any other duties as assigned.
