Trigyn's direct government client has an immediate need for a Business Systems Analyst in Albany, NY.
Description:
? Conducting and leading requirements gathering sessions; analyzing requirements gathered; identifying, documenting, and validating system requirements for continuous integration and deployment.
? Performing a gap analysis of COTS applications and their ability to meet implementation requirements.
? Reviewing, analyzing and documenting system As-Is state and proposed the To-Be state.
? Creating requirements documentation such as: Use cases, Screen prototypes, Process flows, Requirement specifications, Requirement traceability matrix, Test scenarios, Test cases while adhering to pre-established templates and utilizing a requirements management tool.
? Analyzing, extracting, transforming, and documenting legacy systems' functionality, system logic, business rules, and context diagrams.
? Managing all aspects of a business capability to build and maintain its business architecture (e.g., requirements, policies, applications, etc.).
? Analyzing quantitative data to drive recommendations and decisions and presenting justifications for system or business process requirements.
? Evaluating and providing feedback on vendor deliverables and/or artifacts throughout the project life cycle.
? Creating or improving existing templates for the business analysis functions.
? Participating in project meetings and calls with State, project, and vendor staff.
? Providing other business analysis support as required."
Mandatory Qualification:
? Analyzes an organization or business domain (real or hypothetical) and documents its business or processes or systems, assessing the business model or its integration with technology with distinct deliverables to a solution.
? Candidate is able to provide guidance to large teams and/or has extensive industry experience and is considered at the top of his/her field.
? 84 months of experience in Information Technology supporting complex software systems or applications and providing written communications to business owners, IT program team members, and management.
? 84 months of client focused business analysis experience analyzing complex business processes and converting these into verified and validated functional and non-functional requirements for continuous integration and deployment.
? 84 months of experience in researching, reviewing, and evaluating technical specifications for compliance with business objectives and managing requirements including creation of Requirement management plans, Requirement traceability matrix, establishing requirements baseline and managing change control.
? 84 months of experience on projects analyzing, extracting, transforming, and documenting legacy systems' functionality, system logic, business rules, and context diagrams.
? 72 months of experience facilitating requirements gathering sessions using focus groups, user interviews or subject matter experts and serving as the liaison between business users and developers to ensure requirements are understood, conveyed and met.
? 60 months of experience working with Health Insurance or the Affordable Care Act or Medicaid which includes Eligibility and Enrollment (not Health Care).
? Bachelor?s degree or Masters? degree with coursework in Information Technology, Business or Public Administration, Project Management and/or Communications
