Trigyn's direct client based out of Louisiana has a long-term contract assignment for Data Analyst. The particulars of the position are as follows.
Roles and responsibilities:
? Collect, clean, and analyze data to support business decisions and strategies;
? Develop and maintain reports and dashboards to visualize key performance indicators (KPIs);
? Develop exception reporting to help identify potential errors made by manual administrative responsibilities;
? Collaborate with stakeholders to understand data needs and provide actionable insights;
? Under the guidance of LDOE, identify opportunities to augment internal tracking, reporting, and forecasting capabilities;
? Ensure data quality and integrity through rigorous testing and validation processes;
? Participate in team meetings and presentations to communicate findings and recommendations.
Expertise and/or relevant experience in the following areas are mandatory:
? Two (2) plus years of expertise and/or relevant experience in:
? Data analysis and reporting;
? SQL and database management systems (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL, MSSQL);
? Data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI);
? Excel/Google Sheets advanced formulas;
? Proficiency in Python programming language;
? Strong understanding of statistical methods and techniques;
? Excellent communication skills for presenting findings to non-technical stakeholders.
Expertise and/or relevant experience in the following areas are desirable but not mandatory:
? Familiarity with machine learning concepts and techniques;
? Understanding of data warehouse architecture and technologies;
? Familiarity with LDOE data systems and models.
