Java / J2EE Architect (AWS, Spring, Maven, Python, Kafka)

Trigyn's direct government client has an immediate need for a Java / J2EE Architect in New York, NY.

Description:
The department is seeking a Software Architect to contribute to health data integrations and application development to support Interoperability projects. The successful candidate will support in the interface, Interoperability and hands on development, and will work alongside with developers and systems administrators in support of interface operations. This position will support interoperability projects throughout the planning, design, implementation, application development and production monitoring stage. The selected candidate will be responsible for all phases of the System Development Life Cycle for complex projects. The responsibilities will include both new development as well as maintenance tasks.

Specific tasks will include:
? Develop and build custom software and integrations for EMR interoperability with hospitals and providers
? Developing technical design documents and program specifications.
? Developing software integration components and custom applications and maintenance.
? Provide architectural expertise for AWS services and other software components.
? Work closely with product and engineering to develop strategy for data ingestion architecture, tools, and processes
? Implement processes and systems to monitor code and application quality, ensuring production system is always accurate and available for key stakeholders and business processes that depend on it
? Performance tune new and existing applications, along with benchmarking and cost control of software services.
? Guiding requirements gathering sessions.
? Coding and performing unit and integration tests of programming assignments.
? Supporting production tasks including analysis of issue, proposing and implementing solutions for defect resolution.

Mandatory Qualification:
? Makes high-level design choices and dictates technical standards, including software coding standards, tools, and platforms. Designs multi-leveled architecture or component interactions of a large-scale software system.
? Candidate is able to provide guidance to large teams and/or has extensive industry experience and is considered at the top of his/her field.

? 84 months experience in software development and design multi-level architecture in setting with J2EE technologies including EJB, JDBC, Spring, Maven
? 60 months experience Python, Shell scripting, AWS Lambda, RESTful APIs
? 36 months development experience with Apache Camel and Kafka or other messaging brokers (Kafka Producer or Consumer development)
? 36 months AWS development experience, Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform
? 36 months experience in developing full stack applications with expertise in JavaScript/Python/NodeJS/NextJS application
? 36 months experience working with Oauth 2.0, OpenID, Keycloak or other Identity application
? Cloud administration certifications (AWS) Preferred: AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate
? 36 months Healthcare domain experience with development with preferred experience in HL7 FHIR
? Bachelor?s degree in computer science, business intelligence, information science or related field.
