We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Certified Pharmacy Technician to join our team at TriHealth. As a member of our pharmacy team, you will play a critical role in supporting our healthcare providers in delivering life-saving medications and improving patient outcomes.
The successful candidate will have a strong background in pharmacy technology, with a focus on precision, accuracy, and attention to detail. Under the direct supervision of a registered pharmacist, supervisor, or director of pharmacy services, you will perform a variety of technical and clerical duties, including maintaining confidential reports, entering and retrieving data using the computer system, filling requests for pharmaceutical supplies, and delivering supplies to nursing units.
To excel in this role, you will need:
- A high school degree or equivalent
- An active National Pharm Tech Cert (CPhT) is required
- Approved certification through the Pharm Tech Cert Board (PCTB) and ExCPT Cert by the National Healthcareer Association
- Active registration with the Ohio Board of Pharmacy as a Certified Pharmacy Technician
- Up to 1 year experience in a related field
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, attention to detail, proficient in using pharmacy software and equipment
