About the Role
As a seasoned leader, you will manage and direct daily activities of the hospital maintenance department. This includes buildings, grounds, utilities, and systems equipment.
We are seeking an experienced professional to oversee the proper operation of Hospital utility systems and associated backup systems. Your comprehensive program of preventative maintenance activities will ensure utilities, environmental systems, and other building systems operate properly and efficiently.
You will prioritize, coordinate, and assign work through verbal instructions/directions, hospital work requests, and meetings with supervisors to ensure proper installation, repairs, and equipment operations exist.
Responsibilities
- Direct supervision of supervisors, lead mechanics, and up to 30 staff.
- Development and maintenance of a record-keeping and reporting system in compliance with OSHA, TJC, and State/Federal organizations.
- Fulfillment of leadership performance standards, including achievement of annual pillar goals and utilization of TriHealth Way leadership competencies, tactics, and ALWAYS behaviors.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering General or equivalent experience accepted in lieu of degree.
- Knowledge of technical or engineering workings of hospitals.
- 4-5 years of management experience, preferably in healthcare, with facility management in a complex healthcare environment.
- Proven experience working with Joint Commission and CMS standards.
