Job Title : Laboratory Information System (LIS) Specialist
Job Summary :
This role involves monitoring the daily performance of the LIS, conducting introductory training for laboratory computer users, and providing technical support to ensure the smooth operation of the system.
Key Responsibilities :
- Performs file maintenance for new clients, including client definitions in Sunquest Clinical and Clinical Financial.
- Monitors preventative maintenance programs, assists in the maintenance of laboratory computer equipment, and troubleshoots miscellaneous problems.
- Ensures patient and laboratory data integrity by monitoring system and interfaces performance.
- Assists in implementing system upgrades, enhancements, and new acquisitions, including system testing, documentation, and staff training.
