Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team at TriHealth. This is a part-time position working 72 hours per week in the NICU. As a Respiratory Therapist, you will provide high-quality patient care, administer respiratory therapy modalities, and participate in clinical education of students.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer all respiratory care therapeutic modalities, including mechanical ventilation management
- Assess the appropriateness and effectiveness of therapy administered
- Participate in diagnostic activities such as ABG procurement and analysis, bedside pulmonary function testing, and hemodynamic procedures
Requirements:
- Graduate of an approved technical, professional, or vocational program
- BLS certification
- NBRC Registry or RRT certification
- Current Ohio licensure
- 1-2 years experience in a related field
Preferred Qualifications:
- Neonatal experience for this role
