What are the responsibilities and job description for the Business & Data Analyst position at TriHire Solutions?
We are looking for a Business & Data Analyst who will play a crucial role in bridging the gap between our business operations and data strategy. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in translating business challenges into data solutions, has a strong foundation in data modeling, and enjoys working closely with stakeholders to define and refine analytical needs. While knowledge of Power BI and Power Platform are beneficial, the primary focus is on structuring and contextualizing data to create actionable insights.

Business Engagement & Strategy
- Act as a liaison between business units and data teams, ensuring alignment between business needs and data architecture.
- Develop a deep understanding of company operations, metrics, and KPIs to ensure data is structured in a way that supports business objectives.
- Work closely with leadership and stakeholders to define, shape, and prioritize data-driven initiatives.
- Facilitate business process analysis, identifying areas where data can improve efficiency, automation, or decision-making.
Analytics & Insights
- Translate raw data into actionable insights, helping business users understand and utilize data effectively.
- Work with stakeholders to define business logic and transformations that provide meaningful metrics.
- Develop prototypes, reports, and dashboards in tools like Power BI, ensuring clarity and usability.
- Define key performance indicators (KPIs) and reporting structures that align with business objectives.
Data Integration & Process Improvement
- Work with developers and data administrators to integrate data from various sources into the company’s central data warehouse (SSOT).
- Identify opportunities to streamline data pipelines, automate reporting, and improve data accuracy and accessibility.
- Ensure data models support predictive analytics and advanced data analysis initiatives.
- Promote data literacy across the organization by educating teams on how to interact with and interpret data.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 5 years of experience in a Business Analyst, Data Analyst, or related role.
- Strong understanding of data modeling, relational databases, and data warehousing concepts.
- Experience working with SQL, data pipelines, and ETL processes.

- Ability to clearly communicate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Hands-on experience with Power BI for reporting and analytics.
