- Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the cloud services market
- Establish connections with the AWS SMB and Enterprise Teams in the North East
- Research target clients and reach out via email, phone, and social media to initiate conversations
- Qualify leads to ensure alignment with our cloud solutions and prepare them for the sales team
- Maintain accurate records of lead generation activities and report on outcomes to management
- Stay informed on cloud industry trends and competitor activities to position our services effectively
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, or a related field; prior experience in a sales or business development role is preferred
- A minimum of 4 years of experience in business development or sales, particularly within the cloud services sector working with AWS
- Must live in New York City or have ability to travel into NYC daily
- Existing connections and knowledge of the AWS SMB and Enterprise sales teams in the Northeast
- Solid understanding of sales processes and ability to foster relationships with potential clients
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with a talent for engaging prospects
- Proficiency in Salesforce CRM
- Self-motivated with the ability to handle multiple tasks and work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Familiarity with advanced concepts and emerging trends in cloud computing
- Familiarity with major cloud providers such as AWS, Azure, and OCI
