What are the responsibilities and job description for the Mid-level Business Development Manager / Capture Manager position at Trillion Technology Solutions?
Trillion Technology solutions is currently hiring for a Mid-level Business Development / Capture Manager to help grow new business. The candidate will be involved in supporting Trillion's business development in the government and commercial sectors. Primary areas of responsibility include coordinating and developing winning responses to Request for Proposals (RFP) / Request for Quotes (RFQ), developing new business deals by identifying opportunities that best match Trillion's capabilities, conducting capture and teaming activities to progress opportunities, and negotiating contracts on behalf of Trillion.
Location: Remote, otherwise Reston, VA
Minimum Required Experience:
- 8 years minimum experience in supporting business development and capture management for federal government opportunities/contracts.
- 6 years' experience leading capture efforts in support of federal competitive procurements
- 5 years minimum experience in all aspects of pricing, business development, proposals of complex procurement and services-based solicitations
- Bachelor's degree or higher in relevant business, technical, or professional field of study.
- Experience managing and writing proposals
- Adept at relating to technical subject matter experts, professionals, and non-professionals at all levels.
Preferred Skills:
- Business Development - Research the latest in the business industry and creating new opportunities to expand business (60%)
- Lead Strategic Capture efforts on new business opportunities (30%)
- Support Proposal Development (10%)
