Salary : $90k - $140k per year (based on experience) M / V / D & PTO.
Trillium Construction is seeking an Estimator for a direct hire opportunity with a leading construction company specializing in engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) services for the energy industry. Our client designs and builds industrial facilities, including terminals, pipelines, and storage tanks.
As a Construction Estimator, you’ll be responsible for preparing budgets, estimates, and proposals for construction and fabrication projects across the industrial, oil and gas, and railroad sectors. This role involves close collaboration with project managers, superintendents, and engineers to evaluate schedules, construction strategies, and project development.
Key Responsibilities :
- Review and analyze construction documents, specifications, drawings, and plans to understand the project scope.
- Assess bid documents to identify risks and opportunities, providing actionable feedback to management.
- Perform take-offs and prepare detailed, accurate construction estimates.
- Work with internal teams and external resources to develop comprehensive proposals.
- Present estimates and proposals to management, stakeholders, and clients.
- Assist with the project transition from estimating to engineering, fabrication, and construction divisions.
- Identify and coordinate with qualified subcontractors and vendors to gather estimates.
- Maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, subcontractors, and vendors.
- Leverage historical productivity data to enhance future estimates and proposals.
