Trillium Construction is searching for an experienced Electrical foreman in the Madison area.
Our client is a mechanical contractor specializing in residential and commercial projects focusing on plumbing, HVAC, Fire Protection, and Electrical. They are now hiring for a Residential Electrical Foreman to help with their busy backlog. This is a direct hire opportunity with an hourly rate of up to $34 plus tons of overtime. Duties:
• Manage and oversee a team of electricians and apprentices, ensuring that work is completed efficiently, safely, and to the highest standards.
• Oversee the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems in residential properties, including wiring, circuit breakers, lighting, outlets, and electrical panels.
• Coordinate daily activities on job sites, ensuring that tasks are completed on schedule, within budget, and according to the scope of work. Monitor work progress and adjust plans as needed to meet deadlines.
• Ensure that electrical work complies with national and local electrical codes, as well as safety regulations. Perform inspections and quality checks to ensure the highest level of workmanship.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed, time logs, materials used, and other documentation required. Provide regular updates to project managers or senior leadership on project progress.

Qualifications:
• Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience as an electrician, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or foreman role.
• Journeyman License
• Extensive knowledge of residential electrical systems, including wiring, circuit breakers, electrical panels, lighting, and home automation systems. Familiarity with the National Electrical Code (NEC) and local electrical codes.
• Proven ability to lead and manage a team, including task delegation, monitoring performance, and resolving conflicts. Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Strong troubleshooting skills to quickly identify and resolve electrical issues on-site.
