Trillium Construction is hiring a full-time Commercial Electrical Project Manager for a client in Chaska, Minnesota. The client is a full-service commercial electrical contractor specializing in tenant improvements, remodels, new construction, and service, delivering high-quality results with a strong focus on customer satisfaction.
Major Expectations & Accountabilities
- Collaboration : Work with the Sales Team and Project Managers to identify the best approach, value, and pricing for commercial electrical projects.
- Proposal Development : Partner with the Electrical Division to create and deliver competitive bid proposals, estimates for commercial electrical projects, and change orders.
- Relationship Building : Cultivate new customer and contractor relationships while maintaining existing ones, supporting the Sales Team in generating growth opportunities.
- Procurement : Manage the ordering of materials through Remarcable and equipment rentals from approved vendors as needed for projects and service calls.
- Profitability : Ensure projects align with our client’s profitability and cost-control goals.
- Customer Communication : Maintain clear communication with customers throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring satisfaction before, during, and after project completion.
- Documentation : Complete all required project documents, including work orders, materials used, and billing information to ensure accurate customer estimates.
- Labor Management : Collaborate with the assigned Project Manager and Field Supervisor to assess labor needs for installations, project closeouts, and completion.
- Scope Transmission : Communicate project scope and bid details to field leads, subcontractors, and suppliers as necessary.
- Customer Advocacy : Act as a trusted advisor to customers, setting project objectives and ensuring final outcomes meet or exceed expectations.
- Proactive Engagement : Continuously seek new opportunities, share information with other Project Managers and the Service Department Manager, and promote services.
- Safety & Values : Uphold and promote our client’s philosophy, processes, values, and safety standards.
