Trillium Construction is now hiring a Mechanical/Plumbing Superintendent for a direct hire opportunity with a full-service design-build company working on-site at Naval Station Norfolk, VA.
As a Mechanical/Plumbing Superintendent, you’ll be a key part of the Field Operations team, responsible for the daily supervision, coordination, and direction of all plumbing and mechanical construction activities. This includes managing assigned crews and subcontractors to ensure high-quality work is completed safely, on schedule, and within budget—while supporting the company’s mission, vision, and values.
This is a direct hire position with a competitive salary and benefits package.
Position Details:
- Location: Naval Station Norfolk, VA
- Pay: $90,000 – $120,000 per year (based on experience)

Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required; courses in construction management or plumbing trade school preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Plumbing/Mechanical Foreman on commercial or industrial projects with plumbing scopes of at least $400,000.
- At least 3 years of hands-on field experience with pressurized mechanical and plumbing systems preferred.
- Previous work on government, military, or large-scale commercial projects is a must
- Experience in design-build environments is preferred.
- Basic computer skills (Outlook) required—training available.
- Familiarity with BIM software is a plus—training available.
- CPR, First Aid, OSHA 30, EM-385, and STS certifications required—training can be provided.
Additional Requirements:
- Must be able to pass a drug screening and background check, including Department of Defense clearance for base access.
- Proof of identity and authorization to work in the U.S. is required at time of hire.
