As a key member of our team, you will oversee day-to-day operations on construction projects from start to finish, ensuring they stay on schedule and meet quality standards. Your exceptional organizational skills and ability to read blueprints will be essential in this role.
Responsibilities
As a Project Manager, your primary responsibilities will include reviewing project plans, estimating costs, and managing bids. You will prepare necessary paperwork, maintain project logs, meeting minutes, and other important documents, and oversee project scheduling and coordinate with superintendents to meet deadlines. Additionally, you will manage project budgets, handle subcontractor agreements, scopes of work, and purchase orders, track changes to projects, and manage all change order requests. Your ability to communicate effectively with clients and stakeholders will also be critical in this role.
Qualifications
Strong organizational and project management skills are essential for this role, as well as the ability to read blueprints and understand construction documents. Excellent communication skills are also critical, as is experience with construction software and project management tools. A bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field is preferred but not required. At least 5 years of experience in the construction industry, preferably in a field-based role, is essential. We are open to considering candidates with relevant experience and qualifications, regardless of formal education background.
