What are the responsibilities and job description for the Warehouse Material Handler position at Trillium Farms?
Job Summary:
Trillium Farms needs a delivery driver to prepare, load, transport, and unload product between our locations to support daily operations. As the delivery driver, you will be the face of the Trillium Farms warehouse team. Driving routes will mainly be within a 6–10-mile radius from the stationed location Travel will be needed between warehousing locations to further support operational needs.
Job Duties:
. Perform timely and efficient deliveries to customers in accordance with company standards.
. Utilize a forklift or pallet jack to safely and efficiently load and unload products onto and off of delivery trucks.
. Maintain accurate delivery and trip records using electronic tablet or computer-based record-keeping systems.
. Conduct daily inspections of delivery vehicles and promptly report any operational issues to management.
. Ensure delivery vehicles are clean and well-maintained by performing weekly cleaning and maintenance checks in accordance with company policies.
. Provide prompt and professional laundry pickup and delivery services each week.
. Collaborate with warehouse team to ensure accurate order pulling, stocking, and general housekeeping duties are completed to company standards.
. Maintain truck wash station – including weekly cleaning and maintenance checks.
. Adhere to all company-specific policies and procedures to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
. Travel between two warehouse locations to fulfill assigned duties as scheduled.
. Perform any other duties as assigned by management in a timely and efficient manner.
Requirements and Qualifications:
. Clear background check
. Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, detail orientated environment
. Excellent communication skill with a strong emphasis on customer service.
. Ability to work well with others in a “one team” based environment.
. Must have valid driver's license (CDL preferred, but not required)
. Valid Med Card (CDL)
Essential Job Functions:
. Sit, stand, and walk for prolonged periods throughout a 9 hour day.
. Ability to regularly lift 50 pounds.
. Ability to occasionally bend/twist/reach.
. Ability to hear and follow instructions as well as communicate.
. Able to work in dusty environments and be exposed to heat/cold on a regular basis.
