Reporting to Global Sales Manager, the Project Manager's main emphasis will be management of new equipment installations and new product development for the Nuclear Power Industry. The ideal candidate will have the following experience:
- managing projects from proposal stage through project completion
- taking new product development from initial concept through development to production ready
- communicating technically with domestic and international customers
- Understanding and use of MRP systems (preferably M3), BOM structures and scheduling.
- Conduct project management activities such as communicating with principal investigators, resource managers, project engineers, technical tradesmen, etc. to track project cost and schedule milestones, maintain quality assurance processes, and keep the focus on delivering project commitments.
- Experience in identifying project deliverable priorities and establishing accountability within a project team for those deliverables.
- Coordinate, resolve, or assist in resolution of conflicts and other issues within and between project and program teams and recommend/provide solutions.
- Coordinate customer interactions to derive necessary technical details.
- Relationship builder: excel at collaborating with customers, vendors and diverse internal personnel to meet or exceed design, quality, timeline and budget expectations.
- Make effective presentations in oral and written form and to communicate complex issues.
- Read, understand, and interpret complex technical documentation and drawings.
- Develop realistic expectations for project costs and completion dates.
- Travel to support customer meetings when required both international and domestic (5-15%).
Successful candidates will have the following qualifications:
- 4-year Engineering degree
- 4-7 years related; nuclear industry preferred
- High level of competency in MS Office applications
- Self-starter with minimum supervision
- Ability to work well under a compressed schedule if needed
