*Full-time & part-time positions: ALL SHIFTS
-Positions include every other weekend & holiday
The CNA: Certified Nursing Assistant will
provide quality nursing care to residents. This care will be performed in
accordance with TANDEM LIVING Core Values, Mission Statement and
regulations.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must
be at least 18 years of age.
- Membership
on the Nurse Aide Registry, as monitored by the PA Department of Health.
Certification must be active and in good standing.
- One
year of experience in Long Term Care preferred but not required.
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
- Assists
in activities of Daily Living needs of the resident - i.e., bathing, dressing,
hair care, mouth care, shaving, toileting, nail care. Provides incontinence care
and changes bed linens.
- Assists
with daily and ongoing activity programs for all residents.
- Lifts,
turns, and transfers residents, as scheduled or as needed. Properly uses
mechanical lifts and require 2 staff for all transfers.
- Observes
and reports any change in resident's condition to LPN or RN using Stop and
Watch in EMR. Completes and documents all areas of care in the EMR system.
Weights/reweighs, BM records, restraint records (when applicable) input and
output and meal percentages, ADLs, mood/behavior, toileting.
- Provides
care in a manner that maintains resident's dignity and state of well-being.
