*Full-time: 80 hours biweekly: 8:00AM-4:30PM
-Schedule: Monday through Friday.
-Most weekends and holidays off.
-Part of an on-call rotation.
The General Maintenance Technician is responsible to coordinate and complete
all maintenance tasks for TANDEM LIVING. This will involve planning,
purchasing necessary materials, and performing general and skilled carpentry in
accordance with TANDEM LIVING standards and Federal, State, and
Local codes. This position will be performed in accordance with TANDEM LIVING Core Values, Mission Statement, and regulations.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High
School Diploma or equivalent.
- Additional
training in cabinetmaking preferred but not required.
- Five
(5) years of general maintenance experience preferred.
- Must
have a valid PA Driver’s License for the past two (2) consecutive years.
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
- Completes
work orders, renovations for smaller projects, and PM’s in a timely manner.
- Maintains
and repairs doors and door hardware, keys, and windows.
- Utilizes
a general knowledge of electrical and mechanical operations. Diagnoses problems
and calls in the appropriate person and/or people to make repairs and resolve
the problem when necessary.
- Possesses
a knowledge of the fire alarm system as well as any other emergency alarm
system(s).
