CURRENT OPENING:
*Every other weekend: 16 hours biweekly: 6:00AM-2:30PM
-POOL "as needed" position $30.00
The LPN in Personal Care provides quality
nursing care to each individual resident in accordance with DPW Regulations and
takes into consideration the residents’ unique needs as well as their mental
and physical abilities. This position will be performed in accordance with TANDEM LIVING Core Values, Mission Statement, and regulations.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High
School diploma or equivalent.
- Current
PA license to practice as an LPN.
- Current
CPR Certification.
- Experience
in a healthcare environment.
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
- Administers
and charts medications using the computerized medication delivery system.
- Assesses
the skin condition of residents and implements appropriate procedures for skin
tears.
- Performs
all duties within the LPN scope of practice. (i.e. catheterizations, bladder
scans, difficult or LPN specified treatments, etc.). Calls
the MD and takes verbal orders for resident treatment and care.
- Oversees
assigned staff. Acts as the LPN Supervisor “in house” when there is
no Clinical Coordinator in the building.
- Timely completes or assists with all required
documentation/forms – admissions/discharges, transfers to hospital,
assessments, support plans, DME/MA51’s, etc.
- Monitors,
responds to, and reports health changes of residents.
