About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled Continuous Improvement Process Engineer to join our team in North Aurora, IL.
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate existing manufacturing processes and recommend cost reduction programs.
- Calculate staffing requirements for assigned manufacturing lines.
- Provide justifications for the purchase of equipment or changes in production methods.
- Develop space plans for all office and production equipment.
- Ensure manufacturing processes and equipment comply with safety standards and legal requirements.
About You:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A Bachelor's degree in mechanical or industrial engineering, or related field.
- Experience in continuous improvement within the fabrication or manufacturing industries.
- Preferred qualifications include Six Sigma green belt or black belt and project management experience.
- Leadership experience in Kaizen events and time studies.
