Trillium Construction is seeking a highly skilled Industrial Electrical Supervisor / Foreman to lead and oversee electrical installations, maintenance, and troubleshooting on industrial projects.
This role requires extensive experience in industrial power distribution, motor controls, PLCs, and high-voltage systems. The ideal candidate will ensure all work meets industry standards, safety regulations, and project deadlines while effectively managing a team of electricians.
The position is based in Columbia, SC and will last for 2 months. The pay rate is $40 per hour.
Key Responsibilities :
- Supervise and coordinate industrial electrical projects, ensuring compliance with blueprints, schematics, and specifications.
- Oversee the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems, including motors, transformers, switchgear, conduit, control panels, and PLCs.
- Ensure adherence to National Electrical Code (NEC), OSHA safety standards, and company policies.
- Conduct inspections, troubleshooting, and testing of industrial electrical systems to identify and resolve issues.
- Manage job site materials, equipment, and workforce to maintain efficiency and minimize downtime.
- Communicate with project managers, engineers, and other trade supervisors to coordinate work and ensure smooth project execution.
- Train and mentor electricians and apprentices, maintaining high-quality workmanship.
- Maintain project records, including daily reports, work progress, and safety documentation.
- Ensure all team members follow proper lockout / tagout (LOTO) procedures and electrical safety protocols.
