Trillium Staffing, a leader in the staffing industry, is currently hiring a Spray Painter. Duties will include spraying the surfaces of machines, manufactured products, or a working area with protective material such as paint, enamel, glaze, gelcoat, or lacquer.
Detailed responsibilities would include :
- Cleaning grease and dirt from product.
- Applying masking tape over parts and areas that are not to be coated.
- Filling or smoothing cavities and dents to attain smooth surface.
- Selecting coating liquid to produce desired color.
- Pouring coating liquid into spray container and connecting gun to air hose.
- Turning sprayer valves and nozzle to regulate width and pressure of spray.
- Pulling the trigger and directing spray onto a work surface to apply primer and finish coat.
- Coating areas inaccessible to hand sprayer with brush.
- Cleaning spraying equipment and brushes with solvent and managing the waste from the solvent cleaning operations.
- Removing rust from metal with a wire brush or steel wool.
- Other duties as assigned.
This position is available on 1st shift, 7am-3 : 30pm, Monday through Friday. Pay ranges from $18-$20 / hour, based on experience. This position is full time and temp-to-hire.
