Position Summary
Trillium is looking for an Events Sales Manager to join our team! The Events Sales Manager will be responsible for planning, organizing, and executing events at all Trillium locations. This includes coordinating with vendors, managing budgets, and ensuring that events run smoothly from start to finish. The Events Manager will also be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to increase private event revenue through new business development, ensuring annual sales goals are met. This position will report directly to the Marketing Manager.
This role will be based at our Canton location, but require flexibility to work at other locations when needed.
- Plan and execute private events across all locations, including corporate gatherings, weddings, and social events.
- Establish and implement consistent event practices for all Trillium locations.
- Create detailed BEOs and contracts for every event.
- Coordinate with Back of House to ensure event menus are current and accurate.
- Respond promptly to all inbound event inquiries.
- Develop and implement strategies to attract new private event business and drive revenue growth.
- Attend industry expos, conferences, and networking events, actively engaging with potential clients and partners to drive external sales and business growth
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure events align with company goals and brand standards.
- Partner with FOH managers and the Private Event Coordinator to ensure seamless event execution.
- Analyze private event data to guide budget decisions and improve cost efficiency.
- Work cross-functionally with other departments to support pop-ups, collaborations, and large-scale Trillium events.
- Be onsite to oversee events as needed.
Additional duties may be assigned as necessary.
Desired Qualifications & Abilities
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in hospitality, marketing, or a related field
- 3 years of experience in event planning and management in a hospitality setting
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Excellent organizational and project management skills
- Experience with Tripleseat preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Suite
- Ability to travel to other Trillium locations as needed
- Availability to work nights and weekends as needed
