We are seeking an experienced Audit Program Manager for an upcoming opportunity with a large federal customer. The ideal candidate will have knowledge of current Commercial and Government-wide policies and regulations concerning accounting standards, auditing standards, financial reporting and financial management. Additionally, the candidate shall have current knowledge of accounting principles and standards to ensure the CFO Act and related issues are effectively addressed.
This position is requires the candidate to work at the USCG HQ Located in Washington DC .

Primary Responsibilities:- Provide technical, functional, and consultant expertise for problem definition, analysis, requirements development and implementation for complex to extremely complex systems or issues.
- Make recommendations and advise on organization-wide process or system improvements, optimization or maintenance efforts in integrated financial management systems. Specifically: business process improvement, risk management/electronic analysis, and capable of providing complex statistical modeling and analysis.
- Advise on organization-wide system improvements, optimization or maintenance efforts in integrated complex to extremely complex financial management systems and provide expert advice, research analysis and offers recommendations based off results.
- Support the documentation and maturation of management processes to include regular meetings with business Leaders and development teams and submitting recommendations such as lessons learned and process improvements.
- Support Trilogy corporate initiatives for staff development and company growth through business development efforts.
- Perform all duties associated with program management related to client and Trilogy deliverables, manage teaming partner contributions and relationships, and mentor and coach junior staff for career growth and development.
- Provide support in the development and implementation of internal controls over budgetary resource management to remediate internal control weaknesses/gaps identified in the external audit and to align with Department of Homeland Security (DHS) control standards.
- Bachelor's degree in accounting OR a bachelor's degree plus an active Certified Public Accounting (CPA) certification.
- 12 years of relevant work experience (5 of which must be federal government work experience).
- Experience auditing federal agencies financial statements OR performing audits readiness work in the Department of Homeland Security as a government employee or contactor directly in support of an audit readiness task order.
- Ability to obtain a Public Trust Clearance
- The ability to work onsite in Washington, D.C., Monday to Friday.
- PMP certification
- DHS experience.
