The Portfolio Manager Associate plays a crucial role in supporting the portfolio management team in building, enhancing, and monitoring our investment platform and offerings. This person is responsible for conducting in-depth research and analysis of portfolio managers, investment products, and market trends. This role provides essential support in the creation and maintenance of Trilogy’s investment offerings, contributing to the overall success of the portfolio management team under the Chief Investment Officer. Additionally, the Portfolio Manager Associate supports the daily operations of the Trading department, which includes executing trades, conducting post-trade analysis and reviews, and auditing trades and portfolios to ensure accuracy and efficiency of processes. as well as meeting and exceeding the set expectations of the Trading department.

Requirements
- Conduct thorough due diligence on potential and existing portfolio managers, including performance analysis, investment strategy evaluation, trading tools, and operational risk assessment.
- Analyze portfolio holdings, including individual securities and asset allocations, to understand their contribution to overall portfolio performance.
- Gather and synthesize information from various sources, including financial databases, research reports, and company filings.
- Create detailed reports and presentations summarizing research findings.
- Execute trades on various financial markets and instruments in collaboration with Traders, ensuring daily operations are executed accurately and efficiently in alignment with departmental goals.
- Implement and execute processes to uphold sound trading and auditing practices, safeguarding both portfolio integrity and the company’s interests.
- Proactively identify and minimize trade errors to ensure accuracy and compliance in all trading activities.
- Work closely with the Chief Investment Officer (CIO) in both tactical and strategic model management, ensuring alignment with company objectives.
- Provide guidance and advice to the Product Operations Manager and CIO on all matters related to trading, helping to inform decision making.
- Collaborate with other traders and departments within the firm, such as research, operations, and compliance, to facilitate smooth trading operations.
- Participate in trading meetings and discussions to contribute ideas and insights for improving trading performance.
