Job Summary
The Mentor & Onboarding Program Manager is responsible for the strategic design, implementation, and ongoing management of effective mentor and onboarding initiatives within the organization. This role will lead the development of learning content, coordinate cross-functional teams, and ensure that all training programs align with company goals, values, and growth objectives. The Program Manager will oversee the entire lifecycle of learning programs, from needs assessment and content creation to delivery and impact evaluation, with a strong focus on scalability and sustainability.
Roles and Responsibilities
• Manages the end-to-end development and execution of mentor and frontline onboarding programs, including needs analysis, content creation, delivery, and evaluation to ensure alignment with organizational goals.
• Designs and implements scalable processes for training programs, ensuring long-term sustainability and effectiveness.
• Continuously assesses and updates learning content to ensure its relevance as the organization evolves, integrating new trends and insights into the mentor and onboarding experiences.
• Leads cross-functional teams of stakeholders, subject matter experts, and other resources to set standards, govern processes, manage timelines, and encourage knowledge-sharing best practices for each program.
• Maintains clear documentation of project milestones, deliverables, risks, and dependencies; regularly communicate progress and updates to stakeholders to ensure transparency and alignment.
• Designs and administers assessments to identify specific learning needs, monitor participant engagement, and evaluate the achievement of learning objectives.
• Leverages learning data and performance metrics to assess the impact of learning initiatives, making informed adjustments to continuously improve program outcomes.
• Defines key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success and effectiveness of mentoring and frontline onboarding programs, ensuring alignment with organizational priorities.
• Partners with department leaders and stakeholders to identify learning needs and co-develop customized solutions that address specific team and business objectives.
• Fosters strong relationships with internal teams, external partners, and vendors to enhance program development and ensure support for ongoing learning initiatives.
• Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Education: Bachelor Degree
Experience: 5-8 years
Physical Requirements
Sitting, standing, bending, reaching, stretching, stooping, walking, and moving intermittently during working hours. Must be able to lift at least 50lbs. Must be able to maintain verbal and written communication with co-workers, supervisors, residents, family members, visitors, vendors, and all business associates outside of the health campus.
