Job Summary

The Benefits Analyst will support the implementation and administration of the Company’s Benefits and Wellness programs, serving as a subject matter expert and partner to employees, internal departmental functions, and external vendors. This position requires a high level of analytical skills, attention to detail, and strong communication skills.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Provides customer service support to internal and external customers, researching and triaging issues with vendors to resolve employee concerns in a timely manner.
• Completes ongoing reconciliation and processing of third-party vendor invoices on a timely and accurate basis, including researching and resolving reconciliation discrepancies.
• Execute and develop reports and visualizations to analyze data for insights that lead to actionable outcomes for improving benefit and wellness programs and practices.
• Support the administration of the company’s education programs including education assistance requests, invoicing, and other tasks.
• Document, process, and reconcile weekly all benefit premium payments for employees on leave of absence.
• Review payroll reporting for accurate benefit premium withholdings and collection.
• Ensure carriers have accurate demographic and structure-related data at all times.
• Assist with 401(k) audits, testing, and reporting.
• Maintain the team’s intellectual capital to ensure all literature is relevant and accurate.
• Provide testing assistance, data gathering, reporting analysis and communications during annual open enrollment.
• Assists in the development of communications materials to enhance employee understanding of benefit and wellness programs.

Qualifications

Experienced Level: Requires 1-3 years’ experience and HS diploma or equivalent. Associate’s degree preferred.

Licenses and Certifications

Certified CBP, CEBS, SHRM or HRCI a plus.

Physical Requirements

Sitting, standing, bending, reaching, stretching, stooping, walking, and moving intermittently during working hours. Must be able to lift at least 50lbs. Must be able to maintain verbal and written communication with co-workers, supervisors, residents, family members, visitors, vendors, and all business associates outside of the health campus.
