As part of our NRM Team, we are seeking a meticulous and organized File Clerk to support document management and information processing.
Position Summary
As a File Clerk, you will play a crucial role in managing and maintaining essential records and documentation for our NRM Software Product Team. Your primary responsibilities will include scanning, organizing, tracking, and verifying critical documents such as revenue checks, deeds, leases, tax tickets, and other sensitive information. This role requires a keen eye for detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to ensure data accuracy and confidentiality.
Key Responsibilities
- Scan, digitize, and organize various documents while ensuring image quality and legibility.
- Perform quality control checks on scanned files to confirm completeness and accuracy.
- Maintain a structured document tracking system to facilitate efficient retrieval and storage.
- Process, track, and organize incoming client documents, ensuring all sensitive information is handled with utmost confidentiality.
- Assist in maintaining digital and physical file systems, following internal data management protocols.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely and secure handling of client information.
- Follow company policies and procedures regarding document storage, retention, and confidentiality.
Qualifications & Skills Required
- Education: High School Diploma or equivalent (required).
- Experience: Minimum of one (1) year of office or clerical experience, preferably in document management, records administration, or a similar field.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Basic knowledge of scanning software and document management systems (preferred but not required).
- Attention to Detail: Strong ability to review documents for accuracy, legibility, and completeness.
- Confidentiality & Discretion: Must be able to handle sensitive client information with the highest level of confidentiality and professionalism.
- Organizational Skills: Ability to effectively sort, file, and retrieve documents with minimal supervision.
- Time Management: Ability to meet deadlines and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Work Environment & Schedule
- Part-Time Position: 16-20 hours per week.
- Work Location: On-site in Bridgeport, WV.
- Contract Basis (1099): Independent contractor role with flexible scheduling
