Responsibilities:
- Effective communication with company leaders and local HR/Payroll representatives.
- Provision of initial guidance on employee relations, performance management, and employment terminations.
- Ensuring compliance with Federal and State labor and employment laws.
- Identifying training and development needs in collaboration with the HR Manager.
- Coordinating the administration of reasonable accommodations and the interactive process under the ADA.
- Collection and analysis of HR data.
- Investigations of HR-related complaints.
- Development and updating of job descriptions, policies, procedures, and forms.
- Audit of HR activities to ensure consistency and compliance.
- Cultural champion promoting the organization's core values.
- EEO compliance efforts.
- Support for biweekly payroll processing.
- PHR or SHRM-CP/SCP certification.
- 2-4 years' experience in HR.
- Knowledge of Labor Law and Cal-OSHA regulations.
- Human Resource experience in the Agricultural industry preferred.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook).
