We are seeking an experienced, full time Electrical Inspector to join our team. This position works primarily in the field at various job site locations in the Las Vegas, Nevada area.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Observe contractor and consultant activities during construction and provide photos and daily inspection reports to document work in the field.
- Observe electrical installation for good workmanship and NEC compliance.
- Review field installation versus the Contract Documents, notify Contractor and Engineer of discrepancies.
- Review shop drawings and RFI submittals, and provide responses.
- Observe start-up and commissioning efforts.
- Witness megger testing of power cables.
- Witness wire continuity testing, Instrument calibration and loop check activities.
- Perform electrical and instrumentation field data gathering.
- Perform field verification of control panels and electrical distribution systems.
- Keep track of the progress / schedule of all projects going on at the facilities.
