We are seeking an Entry-Level Transportation Engineer to join our Transportation Department in Hartford, CT and work as a member of a team on a variety of projects focusing on roadway and traffic design projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the design and analysis of transportation systems, including roadways, intersections, bike paths, and public transit infrastructure.
- Conduct traffic studies, data collection, and analysis using industry-standard tools.
- Prepare engineering drawings, specifications, and cost estimates.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including urban planners, architects, and environmental scientists.
- Assist in writing technical reports and presenting findings to stakeholders.
- Support project management activities, including scheduling, budgeting, and quality assurance.
