The Mannik & Smith Group, Inc., a respected Civil Engineering and Environmental Consulting Company, with offices located in Ohio, Michigan, West Virginia and Alabama, has an immediate opening for an experienced Geotechnical Engineer / Construction Manager with five plus years’ experience in our North Canton, OH office. Candidate must have experience in geotechnical investigations and design and report preparation along with the following :
Key Responsibilities
- Managing field inspection personnel and directing construction quality assurance certification activities, primarily soils and concrete construction
- Review of quality control documents and construction plans
- Preparation of construction drawings and specifications
- Significant construction management interaction
- Direct communication with clients, regulators and contractors
