As a Transit Design Engineer, you will assist on light rail, commuter rail, bus rapid transit, and other transit related projects.
What are the core responsibilities for the role?
- Provide effective and accurate communication with clients, co-workers, stakeholders, contractors, and other team members.
- Support project managers and engineers with design tasks and report preparation for various transit projects.
- Prepare engineering related calculations, drawings, and exhibits.
- Perform independent research including site visits, as directed, and communicate findings to project teams.
- Collaborate with project team members to ensure delivery of high-quality products.
- Manage project data files.
- Attend company and project meetings as directed.
- Assist with business development efforts.
- Adhere to Horrocks policies to uphold a safe and efficient environment.
- Maintain a professional attitude and fulfill responsibilities with integrity.
