Transportation CAD Technician - Entry-Level

Description

As an entry-level CAD Technician, you will create electronic design plans using computer software and work closely with Engineers to turn blueprints and technical drawings into 2D / 3D computer models.

What are the core responsibilities for the role?

• Prioritize tasks to meet various project requests and deadlines, answering to various engineers and project managers
• Drafting and design work for a variety of projects across multiple disciplines
• Working in structural detailing, site plans, drainage, grading, utilities (profiles), SWPPP, and other associated items
• Create / Modify technical drawings of roads, bridges, pipelines, etc.
• Collaborate with engineers to ensure that the drawings are correct and represent the design accurately
• Compiling and maintaining the entire plan set of technical drawings
