Currently we are seeking a "Power Systems Engineer" for one of our clients that is a leading multination corporation.
Position : Engineer 3 / Power Systems Engineer
Location : Pomona, CA (Hybrid)
Duration : 12 Months
Responsibilities include :
- Lead the circuit refresh projects by adopting ICA QC and RV methods. Oversee the development, review, and maintenance of SQL and Python scripts.
- Conduct advanced analysis and provide insights on System Power Flow using CYME software. Liaise with the ICA team and ensure alignment with the regulatory mandates.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, especially High DER Track 1 Proceeding.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams including DE, DGI Mentor and support junior team members.
- Proven ability to lead circuit refresh projects by adopting ICA QC and RV methods.
- Expert understanding of SQL development, with the ability to write and read SQL scripts.
- Advanced proficiency in reading and writing Python scripts. Extensive knowledge of System Power Flow and expertise in using CYME software.
- Strong regulatory background, particularly in High DER Track 1 Proceeding.
- Deep understanding of the ICA team from the CPUC's perspective.
- Mastery in using CYME software.
- Proficient in using Excel, SQL Dev and GitHub for development and version control.
