Job Description
- We're looking for a Field Quality Engineer to help support and enhance our Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) process.
- This role involves coordinating product returns, managing requests, and working closely with customers and internal teams.
- Handle and manage RMA requests from customers.
- Work with internal departments and third-party suppliers to ensure RMA procedures are completed on time.
- Support and improve our existing RMA processes to make them more efficient and reduce processing time.
- Prepare reports and analyze data to track the effectiveness of the RMA process.
- Ensure that all corporate and regulatory requirements are met within the RMA process.
- 5 years’ experience in a customer facing role of any kind.
- Basic understanding of RMA processes and product return principles is a must.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work effectively in a multitasking environment, across multiple groups at AMD.
- High attention to detail and ability to manage large amounts of data.
- Experience with Windows, Microsoft Office, and web portals (e.g., Salesforce, Jira).
- Experience with Python is a plus.
- Experience in any customer facing role.
- Experience with data management and process automation systems.
- Analytical thinking and ability to suggest improvements.
- Good knowledge of Linux, Python, and SQL.
