Job Description
The candidate will have 2 years of experience performing incoming inspection (IQA) on raw materials (wafers, PCBAs, components, housing, pull tabs, etc.) and outgoing inspection (OQA) on completed assemblies (modules).
Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Ability to read prints and drawings to determine critical measurements.
- Ability to understand procedures and apply accept/reject criteria to inspection results.
- Complete understanding of AQL sampling plans.
- Ability to understand and apply accept/reject criteria.
- Ability to generate NCMRs (Non-Conformance Material Reports) and communicate reasoning for rejecting material to all levels of the organization.
- Experience using inspection tools such as microscopes, micrometers, CMM (Coordinate Measuring Machine), and others.
- Proficiency with MS Excel and MS Word.
- Ability to interface with production, engineering, and management to communicate issues arising during inspection.
Qualifications and Skills
- Good communication skills.
- High school diploma (Associate degree is a plus).
- IPC certification is a plus.
- 2-4 years of experience in a high-tech environment.
- Ability to understand instructions and follow directions with minimal supervision.
